CLEVELAND - A Sunday afternoon fire destroyed a house, two mobile homes, and three vehicles in White County.

White County Fire Chief Dickie Howard said some off duty fire fighters from Habersham County were driving by and spotted the blaze. The Habersham County Fire Department helped White County firefighters battle the blaze.
According to Howard everyone got out okay, fireman did save a cat from one of the buildings though all its fur was singed.
The cause of fire is unknown.
The two mobile home were being used as storage and it is believed that the fire began in one of the mobile homes, spreading rapidly to the other, the house and the vehicles.
The American Red Cross was called in to assist the displaced family with their immediate needs.
