Alderman Wants To See More Mobile Home Parks In Calgary

CALGARY/AM770CHQR - Alderman Ric McIver will bring forward a motion at city council's April 16th meeting, asking city administrators to look for opportunities for mobile home parks in Calgary.
McIver says it could be a way to ease the crunch for affordable housing in Calgary.
A number of McIver's constituents who live in the Blackfoot mobile park were given six months notice recently, and told they could be evicted at any time because the property is being re-developed.
